My Story

Sunrose Kaur is a bright and determined young girl with big dreams. After losing her father to a heart attack in 2015, her mother remarried, and she has been raised by her loving but aging grandparents ever since. Her grandfather, an engine repair mechanic, earns just $200-$250 per month, while her grandmother, a diabetic, stays home. The family is also burdened with $3,300 in debt. Sunrose looks up to her teacher and dreams of becoming a doctor to help those in need.
